This 2003 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish is one of 2,589 examples built between 2001 and 2007. The car has remained registered in California from new and now has 40k miles. It is powered by a 5.9-liter V12 linked to an electro-hydraulically operated six-speed automated transmission and a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Meteorite Silver over Obsidian Black and gray leather. Equipment includes 19? 12-spoke alloy wheels, fog lights, heated power-adjustable seats, a cassette stereo, a trunk-mounted CD changer, and automatic climate control. This V12 Vanquish is now offered on dealer consignment with the owner’s manual and a clean California title.
The first-generation V12 Vanquish was designed by Ian Callum and featured aluminum body panels over an aluminum-composite and carbon-fiber chassis. This example is finished in Meteorite Silver, and equipment includes fog lights, hood and fender vents, and dual exhaust outlets. A January 2003 entry in the Carfax report notes that the vehicle was damaged, though no further details are available. Paint meter readings are displayed below. The 19? 12-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires. Stopping is handled by Aston Martin-branded calipers over slotted and ventilated rotors at all four corners.
The 2+2 cabin features heated power-adjustable seats trimmed in Obsidian Black leather with gray inserts. Amenities include push-button ignition, a gray Alcantara headliner, a trunk-mounted CD changer, and automatic climate control. A battery tender is mounted in the trunk.
The steering wheel features paddle shifters and frames white dial instrumentation including a 210-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 40k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.9-liter DOHC V12 was factory rated at 460 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. The fuel pump was replaced in September 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an electro-hydraulically operated six-speed automated transmission and a limited-slip differential.
